Against the Head decide Ronan O'Gara is Ireland's best pro-era out-half

RTÉ’S AGAINST THE Head are currently putting together the best Irish rugby XV from the professional era.

We know most of the backs at this stage with Rob Kearney named at fullback, Tommy Bowe and Shane Horgan on the wings and Brian O’Driscoll resuming his centre partnership with Gordan D’Arcy.

The issue of who would line up at out-half was always going to be contentious with Ronan O’Gara and Johnny Sexton both vying for the number ten shirt.

However, last night, the panel of Mike Prendergast, Alan Quinlan and Gerry Thornley all agreed the former Munster man should get the nod.
